We are participating in the eRD6 tracking consortium that is sponsored by BNL. Within that group we are collaborating with Temple U. and U. of Virginia to develop low-mass GEM detectors (and soon other MPGDs) for forward and central particle tracking in the detectors that will be operating at the next large accelerator to be built in the US, the Electron Ion Collider (EIC).
