Research
Our group has established a comprehensive research program in experimental high-energy physics and detector applications in the Department of Physics & Space Sciences. All research involves a sizable group of graduate and undergraduate students. Check out the links below to learn more about our research topics.
- CMS Experiment
- Electron Ion Collider
- Muon Tomography
- Grid Computing
- CMS Muon Endcap Alignment
- Completed Projects
In the past, in CMS we have searched for Z' bosons in the dimuon channel and were responsible for the hardware alignment of the muon endcap CSC chambers. We also did some two-photon physics at the tail end of the L3 experiment using LEP 2 data.
