Please register for the meeting with a brief email to Marcus to let us know that you plan to attend
so that we can get a basic head count. Please register by Jan 9, 2006 !
If you want to use your laptop for Internet access during the meeting, please
1) indicate in your mail if you can use wireless access or if you need a cable. If possible, we'd like to go
all wireless during the meeting.
2) IMPORTANT: please email the MAC address of your laptop to me as the university requires all
network devices on campus to be registered before they can be used. I'd like to do this ahead of time to
save us a headache during the meeting.

Melbourne Int'l Airport (MLB)
10 min from campus, nationally served by Delta Airlines.
If you reserve early enough (>4 weeks ahead of time), prices are fairly competitive
with flying to Orlando. The Melbourne airport is much more convenient and pleasant.
Orlando Int'l Airport (MCO)
1 hr 15 min from campus, served by all major airlines.

Note that it is tourist season in Florida and that this particular weekend is "Daytona 500" weekend with demand for accommodation spilling over all the way down to Melbourne, so nothing will be "cheap" and availability can be limited.

Campus Visits (general info)
Campus Parking
WeatherThere is ample parking near the F.W. Olin Physical Sciences Building that you are welcome to use. However, you will need a visitor's parking sticker to park on campus to avoid getting ticketed. When you arrive, please see the department secretaries (Irene Nash or Elaine Carlyle-Stearns) to get a sticker. The department office is located on the right hand side of the main lobby on the first floor. Enter through the which is opposite a retention pond with a fountain and you will find yourself in the lobby with the department office to your right.
