The Center for Organizational Effectiveness (The Center) is a Florida Institute of Technology-affiliated consulting group that specializes in organizational assessment, development, and training. The Center's offerings include services such as assessments identifying areas of strengths or weaknesses in your organization's structure or culture; workshops; professional coaching; executive coaching; employee surveys; corporate training; and more. We also provide insights for both domestic and international organizations looking to hire or retain high-performing employees.
Our History
The Center was established in the early 2000s to help facilitate experiential learning. The Center provided opportunities for students to participate in real-world client projects, which helped contextualize the work they were doing in the classroom. These hands-on experiences help bridge the gap between academia and applied work, giving students a realistic job preview of what consulting entails.
While the Center continues to provide students with hands-on learning opportunities, it has evolved into a more structured and professional organization capable of providing quality comparable to and exceeding that of established professional consulting firms. Initially, the majority of the Center's clients were local to central Florida. Since then, we've grown significantly and now work with clients all over the country and even internationally.
Over the years, the Center has grown from fewer than 10 associates to approximately 50 today. This has enabled us to broaden our toolkit and offer a wider range of services to our clients.
