Thapanut Munkong is an airport planning professional and aviation researcher with 6+ years of experience in terminal, airside, and operational planning across airline and airport environments. He has experience in simulation-based analysis, demand and capacity assessment, quantitative evaluation of operational performance, safety, and system design. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Aviation Sciences, with research interests at the intersection of airport planning, human factors, aviation safety, and emerging aviation technologies. He is also focused on applying data-driven and human-centered approaches to improve the design, safety, and operational performance of airport and aviation systems.
