Zero Energy Building @ Florida Tech
The Zero Energy Building (ZEB) @ Florida Tech is sponsored by the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficient Technologies (REET) Grant Program from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer services.
The ZEB project demonstrates a scalable zero-energy building design tailored for Florida climates and applicable to new construction and renovation of commercial buildings. The demonstration features a test platform employing high-impact energy efficiency technologies (HIEET) integrated with onsite solar energy and a smart energy management system to achieve a cost-effective zero-energy design.
