Dr. Sandip Ray is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Florida, where he holds the Warren B. Nelms Endowed Professorship. He is a Director of the Resilient, Intelligent, and Safe Internet of Things (RISING) lab and Director of Industrial Programs at the Warren B. Nelms Institute for Connected World. He has over two decades of experience in designing safe/secure systems for smart, connected computing applications, including vehicular systems, smart homes, wearables/implants, and distributed mobile applications. He was a Senior Principal Engineer in NXP Semiconductors and a Research Scientist at Intel Labs, leading next-generation mobile and automotive research.
