Mostafa’s research focuses on optimizing the configuration of Direct Ink Writing (DIW) printers for Shape Memory Polymers (SMPs), which are smart materials known for their shape-morphing behavior.
Outside of research, Mostafa is passionate about crafting and flying radio control (R/C) model airplanes, video gaming, and swim workouts.
