Victor’s research centers on studying dynamic crack propagation in anisotropic functionally graded materials. He has worked to develop an extended version of bond-based peridynamics that accurately captures crack paths and bifurcations in these complex materials
Outside of research, Victor enjoys surfing and various water sports, which allow him to relax and recharge.
