Dolphin Health Assessments, July 2018 - Barataria Bay, Louisiana
We again had a great opportunity to work with the Consortium for Advanced Research on Marine Mammal Health Assessments (CARMMHA) this July in the nearshore coastal waters of Louisiana. This ongoing bottlenose dolphin health assessment project has been a critical source of data on the health of marine mammals affected by the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill, while also serving as an important collaboration for HAB toxin-related projects taking place in our lab.
