Welcome to the Advanced Material Characterization lab at Florida Tech. Our research interests lie in the material design, 3-D printing, metal additive manufacturing, and thermomechanical characterization of novel materials for applications in aerospace and biomedical with a particular focus on high performance multicomponent alloys, shape memory alloys, and composites.

• Milad Joins our team as a new Ph.D student. 
• Hatim Publishes his first "first author" article "A Machine Learning Approach to Predict Austenite Finish Temperature in Quaternary NiTiHfPd SMAs"
• Dr. Saghaian received Gordon L. Nelson Health Sciences Research Innovation Internal Grant.
