The Wadden Sea is located in Northern Germany and separates the Frisian Islands from mainland Germany. Two of these islands, Spiekeroog and Langeoog, are shown on the upper boundary of the model. The two spaces between these islands represent inlets that open into the North Sea.
These plots were generated using Tecplot software.
Animations of the daily averages from Julian Days 122 - 157 were also produced
using the Tecplot Framer,
which may be downloaded here. This takes less
than 30 seconds in most cases, and it is ready to open raster metafiles
(*.rm) immediately. To download the animations of the Wadden Sea model,
simply click on one of the pictures above. These take several minutes each.
