Dr. Kostanic joined Florida Tech in 2003 as an assistant professor. He teaches mostly graduate level courses in areas of RF propagation, Communication theory and Wireless communication. Prior to joining FIT, Dr. Kostanic spent more than seven years working in wireless communication industry. He worked as a research engineer for Agilent Technologies, SAFCO Technologies and TEC Cellular. |

Dr. Carlos E. Otero is an adjunct professor in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Florida Institute of Technology. His research interests are geared towards wireless sensor networks, simulation, performance analysis, and optimization. He has over 10 years of industry experience in satellite communications systems, command & control systems, wireless security systems, and unmanned aerial vehicle systems. He currently works full-time at Northrop Grumman Corporation in the Information Systems division. |

Nizar Faour is a Ph.D. candidate in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at the Florida Institute of Technology. His research interests are in the areas of RF propagation, wireless networks design and optimization. Nizar has more than ten years of industry experience in wireless communications systems. He is currently part of Optimi corporation advanced research team and is working on new software tools that support design planning and optimization of new upcoming cellular technologies such as WiMAX,LTE, HSDPA and HSUPA. |

Salem A. Balamash is a Ph.D. candidate in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at the Florida Institute of Technology. His research interests are in the areas personal communication systems and mobile locating technologies. Salem has more than ten years of industry experience in LT power planning, maintenance, and operation. Fawzi Alghamdi is a PhD candidate. He joined Florida Tech as an undergraduate in 1999. His research interests are in the performance analysis and optimization of WiMAX networks. Fawzi has also coauthored 11 publications in the areas of RFIDs, web intelligence, software evolution, real-life simulation of catastrophic events, and disaster management. He has more than five years of industry experience in aviation electronics. |

Michael A. Imparato is an adjunct professor in the dept of Electrical and Computer engineering. His research interests are in the areas of integrating wireless transceivers and antennas, RF/Microwave circuit and system modeling, and antenna array design and optimization for next generation wireless communications. He has over 10 years experience in the design of military and commercial communication systems, RF and microwave circuit design, and wireless system design and analysis. Kusay Rukieh is a Ph.D. candidate in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at the Florida Institute of Technology.
