Research project
Vegetation and climate history of the Galápagos Islands, Ecuador

I completed my Bachelor’s of Science from Florida Institute of Technology in General Ecology and Marine Biology in the spring of 2005. I entered the doctoral program at Florida Tech that fall. My thesis work encompasses the climate and vegetation history of the Galapagos Islands over the last 35,000 years. My research interests are island biogeography, El Niño Southern Oscillation, population adaptations and migrations in response to climate oscillations, and impact of invasive species on native fauna and flora.
