A block of suites has been reserved at the discount rate of $169/night (plus tax). This rate is only available until April 18, 2008. After this date, reservations will be accepted only on a space-available basis and may be at a higher rate. Please mention that you are with ILASS-Americas when you make your reservation. A limited number of government per diem rooms are available. Call hotel reservations to inquire.

Airport/Transportation

When planning your flight reservations, the most convenient airport is Orlando International Airport (MCO). It is approximately 20-30 minutes from the hotel. Other regional airports include:

Daytona Beach (DAB) -- 47 miles

Melbourne (MLB) -- 52 miles

Tampa (TPA) -- 83 miles


Distances are between the indicated airport and Orlando Int'l Airport.

ILASS has arranged for discounted shuttle transportation between Orlando International Airport and the hotel via Mears Motor Shuttle for $29 round trip. Note that the shuttle may stop at other hotels en route to/from the Caribe Royale Orlando.

The Caribe Royale Orlando is centrally located to all the famous attractions in the Orlando area. Walt Disney World, Universal Studios Orlando, and SeaWorld are only minutes away. Located about 1.5 hours away on the east coast, the NASA Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is a one-of-a-kind place in the world and the venue for ILASS-Americas' banquet on Tuesday night. Race fans will want to check out the Daytona International Speedway. If you want to enjoy some very unique wildlife, the Florida Everglades are only a couple of hours south of Orlando. Lastly, don't forget to spend a day at Florida's famous beaches, both on the Atlantic and Gulf coasts.
