Department of Physics and Space Sciences - Florida Institute of Technology
This High Energy Physics group is supervised by Dr. Marc Baarmand and Dr. Igor Vodopianov. The group analyzes
simulated top and bottom quark data in order to prepare for the mass influx of data from the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN in
Geneva, Switzerland. The group is part of the US Compact Muon Solenoid (USCMS) Virtual Organization (VO) that connects hundreds of
scientists around the world. These scientists have been working with the LHC and specifically the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment
in 2010. More information about CERN and the LHC here.
This site possesses information about the research being done by the research group, news relevant to the High Energy Particle Physics (HEP) field of study and information about our sponsors.
