
Prior to joining Florida Tech in Melbourne, Florida, Delilah was employed with Easter Seals, as chairperson of the special population division. Her leadership and commitment to clients were instrumental in helping Easter Seals acquire accreditation from the CARF commission. She was honored for program development and outstanding achievement in creating partnerships for the disabled throughout the community.
Delilah has served her community for over 30 years as a volunteer in several organizations. She has been actively involved as a board member promoting education and multi-cultural awareness, as well as developing scholarships for education. Her community involvement earned her the privilege to attend functions with the President of the U.S., the governor of Florida, and local politicians. While working in radio and television, she participated in and helped develop programming to encourage diversity and cultural awareness.
Delilah is a native of New York City. She attended college while working with Columbia Broadcasting Systems (CBS). Her work with Channel 2 gave her valuable experience in sales, marketing, and public relations, from which she also received recognition. She has been employed for the past 7 years at Florida Tech; where she works at the Human-Centered Design Institute with Dr. Guy Boy on special projects related to the aerospace and safety-critical industries.
