Florida Tech Offers New Masters Program in Burgeoning Field of Human Centered Design

MELBOURNE, FLA. – Florida Institute of Technology’s graduate council recently approved the creation of a new master’s degree program in human-centered design (HCD). This program is aimed at people who are interested in creativity, innovation, interdisciplinary work, design and critical thinking.

Florida Tech Professor Earns $112,500 Grant for Life-critical Systems Research

MELBOURNE, FLA.—University Professor Guy Boy of the Florida Institute of Technology has earned a $112,500 grant from the Partner University Fund (PUF) for his project, “Joint research lab on risk management in life-critical systems.” The project, between Florida Tech and the Université de Valenciennes, was one of 11 selected from among 70 applications.
